Background on Dream Interpretations

Dreams can be baffling, bizarre, frightening, funny, or silly; sometimes they are all of them. Night time dramas seem to obtain messages, warnings, and symbolic tales. "Many people believed that dreams were baffling supernatural messages from gods and demons and that only shamans, oracles, and other religious soothsayers were skilled enough to interpret their meaning," (Kallen, 30). Since people believed that dreams were supernatural messages, they constructed numerous amounts of temples where people from all the different levels of society could go to have their dreams interpreted. Natural phenomenons, such as fire, water, weather, and animals were believed to partially be some of the meanings behind dreams. While some people use psychologists and psychiatrists to help analyze their dreams, millions of people actually interpreted their own dreams by using dream dictionaries.

The dream interpretations from above are related to my topic of dreams because when having dreams, you need to have a good understanding of what their meanings symbolize. For instances, the messages and signs coming from dreams can be warnings for you not to go to that certain location or hang out with the people that were in it. When focusing on your dreams, it can become very difficult to get the right interpretation for that dreams because there are so many. Egyptian men and Greek men have helped people to interpret their dreams by using temples for many citizens to go and study the picture for the variety of dreams. Interpretation of dreams is important for many reasons: understanding why you have certain people with you, why you are at that certain destination, why are these things happening to you within the dream, and why you have to relive something that has happened to you in the past or something that will happen to you in the future. However, you might never experience the things that happened in your dreams but there is that possibility that you will, a premonition.

1. I can't read your post title. Change the font color.
2. I would change the beach background.
3. I would also change the title so that it is more legible.
4. . "Many people believed that dreams were baffling supernatural messages from gods and demons and that only shamans, oracles, and other religious soothsayers were skilled enough to interpret their meaning," (Kallen, 30). This is alone and the punctuation is incorrect.
